Hard to Find Wartime 1939/1940 Leica IIIb just CLA'd $249 SOLD

Unusual IIIb with aftermarket shutter release guard, overall E showing some but not excessive wear from its 68 years of existence. RF and VF both bright.

1941 Luftwaffen IIIc with Red Curtain SOLD

Unlike many fakes, this camera is the real deal. It has been CLA'd and works well, BUT the original RED CURTAIN is not light tight - so this is not a picture taker. Original camera and vulcanite, but the baseplate is from a later postwar camera. Even so, this camera is an unusually nice example of its type, as so many Luftwaffen cameras were defaced after the war of their original markings.

Bargain "Sharkskin" Leica IIIC vintage 1950 $249 SOLD
This camera has just been CLA'd and is in fine working order. It has the "sharkskin" textured vulcanite. Like many early post war Leicas, the chrome job was not up to earlier or later standards and shows some pitting and corrosion. Please note flash sync has been expertly added. Nice bright RF and VF. Operates smoothly. Body $299. Nice case for IIIc and later cameras with rigid 50's $30. Not repaired, strap intact.

Sharkskin Leica IIc Just CLA'd $349 SOLD

Postwar IIc with sharkskin vulcanite, very bright RF and VF, nice chrome without corrosion as is so often found on this vintage Leica. Overall a strong E+. Body price $349. A sharkskin IIc in this nice a shape is hard to find.

Bargain Leica IIIf Black Dial just CLA'd $225 SOLD

Bright VF, RF not as bright as I would like due to poor storage conditions which also resulted in corrosion on the top plate. A bit of vulcanite missing on front top edge. Yet it still offers all the improvements of the IIIf body for a shooter. $225

Leica M6 Classic with later improved MP .72 Viewfinder $1000 SOLD

This camera shows some wear, but not abuse. Camera works smoothly. RF/VF bright. Original box and case included, but plastic case hinge is broken.

Nice 50/2 Summitar $229 SOLD

Mint- Leitz Summitar 50/2 Collapsible $249: This is a very nice coated post war Summitar. Focusing helical and aperture work smoothly. Distance scale marked in feet. Shining a bright light thru it shows no scratches and very slight haze which is not seen when simply holding the lens up to the light. There is one bit of black flocking which is resting against an interior element - it will have no effect on the pics. No oil on blades. This is one of the better Summitars. Originally mounted on IIIc 499620, $229
Nice Postwar Coated 50/2 Summar $299 Sold

The Summar is one of my favorite Leica lenses as it can give a nice semi-soft focus effect in the f/2 to f/2.8 range, which is very nice for women. Most Summars are pre-war and uncoated. This is postwar coated. No oil on blades. Slight dust and haze in lens, which can actually help the Summar effect. I would not have it cleaned. Focusing scale in feet.

Summar and Summitar side by side
